Developer ready to start work on Spring Valley

About six years ago, developers of seven newly approved planned communities in rural Ada County were poised to build more than 23,000 homes on nearly 13,000 acres. Another dozen mega-development proposals that could have added thousands more homes on thousands of acres of farm and Foothills land were in the works.
Then the recession winnowed out all but two – Avimor, which has slowly, but steadily, been building homes, and Spring Valley, which decided not to start construction and hunkered down to ride out the recession. Read full story
